What do the numbers on the map mean?

The numbers on the map represent the number of listings available in the area marked by any given color bubble.  These numbers change as you zoom in and out of the map.

When you are zoomed out to the city level, the number marker tells you the number of listings (that match your search criteria) within the blue city or neighborhood outlines that you see when you roll over the map with your mouse.  When you zoom in closely, the blue outlines will disappear, and the number markers will come to represent the number of individual listings contained within just a few blocks of each other.
